Crossroads

Unfortunately, sometimes you have to pay a very painful tuition. I have paid my fair share as well via Hands On, and the important thing is to learn from your mistakes and make sure they are not repeated.

With regards to your #2, I cannot agree more. Though Hands On is a platform for managing volunteers, we do not rely on volunteers for accounting, web design, or other critical functions. We have learned some lessons there as well.
